Actor Yash marked his 40th birthday with a major reveal from his upcoming film Toxic, as the makers unveiled his character look and released a gripping teaser, sending fans into a frenzy.
After releasing first-look posters of five leading actresses, the Toxic team has now introduced Yash’s character to the audience. The newly released teaser confirms that Yash will be seen portraying a character named Raya in the film.
The nearly three-minute video opens with a tense sequence set in a cemetery, where armed men are seen during a burial amid a running flashback. The scene escalates when a speeding car crashes into a tree, followed by the appearance of an intoxicated man planting explosive material linked to the cemetery gate. As explosions erupt, Yash makes a dramatic entry, stepping out shirtless before donning a long coat and wielding a gun in his signature intense style.
Sharing the teaser, the makers captioned the video: “Presenting Raya from Toxic.” The reveal has further amplified anticipation for the film.
With more than two months remaining until release, the promotional campaign for Toxic is gradually gaining momentum. So far, the first looks of Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Nayanthara, and Rukmini Vasanth have already been unveiled, adding to the film’s growing buzz.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on March 19, 2026. The film was originally planned for a December 2025 release but was postponed due to pending post-production work. The release date sets up a potential box office clash, with Dhurandhar 2 and Adivi Sesh–Mrinal Thakur starrer Dacoit also slated for the same day.
