New Delhi : The World Bank has projected that India’s economy will grow at a robust rate of 7% in the financial year 2024-25. This growth is primarily attributed to improvements in the agricultural sector and a subsequent rise in rural demand, which are expected to offset slight declines in the industrial sector. Despite facing a challenging global economic environment, India’s growth prospects remain strong.

The World Bank’s India Development Update Report highlights that the agricultural sector’s performance will be a key factor in maintaining this momentum, while the services sector is also anticipated to continue its strong performance.
