The film’s director Amar Kaushik also stepped in, clarifying that the rumors are entirely baseless and have no connection to the actor’s real-life routine.
Viral posts circulating across X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram over the weekend claimed that Vicky Kaushal had made major lifestyle changes to “get into the spiritual character” of the film. However, the actor’s team and director both dismissed the speculation, describing it as “a product of overactive fan imagination.”
“No, that’s not true at all,” Amar Kaushik said in a light-hearted tone. “Vicky is deeply committed to his role, but there’s no such restriction or change in his diet or lifestyle for this film. These are just made-up stories.”
