Caracas, Venezuela | November 16, 2025:
In a strongly worded video address from Caracas on Monday, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro cautioned the United States against any form of military intervention, as political tensions continue to escalate after the country’s recent elections.
Maduro accused Washington of attempting to destabilize Venezuela and made it clear that any military action by the US under the potential Trump administration would be considered an attack on national sovereignty. He warned that Venezuela is prepared to respond “with full force” to defend its territory.
The sharp warning comes amid rising speculation over possible foreign involvement following the highly contested elections that have drawn international attention. Political analysts note that deteriorating relations between Washington and Caracas could increase uncertainty across Latin America.
Maduro’s statement underscores the fragile geopolitical climate and signals a renewed phase of confrontation between the two nations.
