A Grand Celebration at the Red Fort

The Defense Ministry, in a recent statement, revealed that all preparations for the event have been meticulously completed, ensuring an awe-inspiring and flawless ceremony.
Honoring Special Guests
To make this year’s Independence Day even more special, over 1,800 special guests from various walks of life have been invited to be a part of the festivities. Among them are more than 400 sarpanches from vibrant villages, 250 individuals associated with the Farmer Producer Organization Scheme, and 50 beneficiaries each from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. Notably, 50 Shram Yogis, who have contributed to the Central Vista project including the new Parliament House, will also grace the event.
The list of invitees extends to khadi workers, border road constructors, individuals involved in the Amrit Sarovar and Har Ghar Jal Yojana, primary school teachers, nurses, and fishermen. This diverse and esteemed group represents the various segments of society that contribute to the nation’s progress and development.

This year’s Independence Day celebration holds a special significance as it marks the culmination of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ ceremony.
