Hollywood actor and singer Tyrese Gibson, known for the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, has been embroiled in controversy following a dog attack incident in Georgia, USA. Police allege that Gibson’s four Cane Corso dogs attacked and killed a neighbor’s small spaniel on September 18th.

The neighbor’s dog was rushed to a veterinary hospital but unfortunately did not survive. Local residents reported seeing Gibson’s dogs roaming freely in the neighborhood, causing panic and disruption.


Arrest and Bond Details

An arrest warrant was issued against Gibson about a week before his arrest. He was taken into custody on the morning of October 3rd but was released the same day on a $20,000 bond (approx. Rs. 16.6 lakh).

Police confirmed that Gibson has not yet fully surrendered his dogs to authorities.


Tyrese Gibson’s Statement

Gibson’s lawyer, Gabe Banks, stated that the actor was not at home during the incident and that the dogs were immediately sent to a new, safe home.

Gibson shared his grief on Instagram, posting old clips of his dogs. He said:

“I am heartbroken. I know nothing can replace your pet. I will handle this matter honestly and responsibly.”

He emphasized that the dogs were never bred to be violent but were kept for family protection.
