1000 UG and PG students of the University of Rajasthan were awarded degrees at the grand convocation ceremony at Poddar International College, Mansarovar on Sunday.

In the program, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees were distributed to the students of BA, BSc, BBA, BCA, MCA, MSc and other courses. During this function, the Alumni students received the degrees and recalled their significant times spent with the college. Colorful programs were also presented by the alumni club of the students. Alumni who were toppers in studies, sports and extracurricular activities were also honored with Eklavya, Arjuna and other awards in the programme. Dr. DP Sharma, National Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, as the chief guest in this program, illuminated the importance of change in a challenging life.

He also administered the oath of cleanliness and advised them to adopt professional excellence to move ahead in life. Retired IPS Anand Vardhan Shukla also addressed the students in the programme. He congratulated the children for getting good jobs and imparted information about jobs with big packages and urged them to continuously update their skills. The chairman of the program, former MD / CMD of 4 Public Sector Units, Dr. PM Bhardwaj, who is also a national level motivational and management Guru, highlighted the importance of a Guru in progress and congratulated the children for topping in their fields.

He further added that India was a Golden Bird and World Guru last year and would repeat this singular honor. For that to happen,  teachers and students will need to play a very important role, he pointed out.

National level Motivational Guru, PM Bhardwaj, also praised Poddar Group of Colleges and said that special attention is being given to the overall personality development of the students in this group.

Educationists Madhusudan Dadhich and Mukesh Vyas interacted with the students as guests of honor and told them the need to make continuous efforts for success.

In his address, Dr. Anand Poddar, Chairman of Poddar Group of Institutions, shared his deep knowledge about tie-ups, international exposure, placement packages , innovations in the field of education by Anand Group of Colleges and other information through slide presentation.   Rupal Poddar, Director of the college welcomed the guests on the occasion.
