UT Chandigarh rejuvenates Hotel Shivalikview
with over 6 crores renovation expansion plan. Rain forest theme based
restaurant by CITCO shall be strategically located at the topmost
floor of Shivalikview with a newly crafted menu amidst panoramic view
of the city from its locales to provide a rich new food experience to
the tourists. The restaurant shall be unique as one would eat in
pseudo rain forest environment specially created for special
attraction for youngsters and kids.
According to the Secretary Tourism UT, Sh.Ram Niwas ,”The Rain forest
Restaurant coming up at a cost of 150 lac, shall have illusionary
effects related to forest flora and fauna. Centrally located, large
aquarium shall have exotic aquatic species walk through the entrance
and step into an unforgettable experience indulging in finest
authentic cuisines surrounded by animal figures like anaconda, zebra,
giraffe, meera cat, langoor, monkey etc”. Candle light, tantalizing
aromas all around shall be all pervading in the Rain forest restaurant
adding a picture of a very unique and unforgettable experience for
food lovers
An 8 feet long crocodile in the water body will be the main attraction
of Rain Forest restaurant having waterfall rain effects. Another theme
based restaurant, a Fusion restaurant is also coming up on the topmost
floor of Hotel Shivalikview where the food lovers can relish and
experiment a lot with different cuisines. The restaurant shall serve
peshawari frontier food cuisine and Continental food amidst an
enhanced ambiance with glass walls and special light effects. The
food served here shall have a blend of different cuisines. Fusion
restaurant and Rain Forest restaurant at Shivalikview shall provide
