Why Was ‘Jana Nayagan’ Postponed?

Produced under KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan has been delayed due to certification-related issues. Producer Venkat K. Narayana clarified that:

  • The film was submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on December 18, 2025

  • On December 22, the makers were informed that certain changes were required for a U/A 16+ certificate

  • The suggested modifications were completed and the film was resubmitted

However, the certificate was not issued in time, leading to the postponement. The matter is currently under judicial review, with the next court hearing scheduled for January 21, 2026.
