Inspired by delicacies of ten towns of Mediterranean world – Ten Towns Restaurant located at Madhya Marg, Sector 26 today announced the fortnight long Turkish and Greek Food Festival for the foodies of tricity. Nothing brings you closer to being in turkey or Greece than the aroma and flavours of their excellent cuisines. You don’t have to travel all the way there to live up for your dream delicacies, as Ten Town Restaurant have brought that little bit of paradise straight to you. On the onset of autumn and Eid festivity around the corner Ten Towns is getting ready to launch a very sumptuous food festival covering two countries i.e. Greece and Turkey. As always, Festival guests will be able to sample authentic Turkish-Greek food, enjoy live music along with an abundance of Turkish – Hellenic joy, passion, and enthusiasm. The intriguing part about this festival is that though the cuisines of these two are very different yet there is huge closeness in preparation methods. There are few dishes that are very similar in taste, texture, and usage of ingredients but are pronounced bit differently for example Dolma in Turkish is pronounced as Dolmades in Greece. According to Gaurav, the Managing Director of Ten Towns Restaurant, Cacik Soup, Greek Salad, Lentil Kebabs, Souvlaki, Moussaka, Adana, Imam Bayildi (Veg & Non-Veg), Spicy fish with grilled vegetables, Tendir Kebabi, Dawud pasha, Falafels, and Lam Chuan Pizza are some internationally known dishes from these two countries and are definitely not to be missed out on anybody’s food-tasted-list at all. These all dishes are freshly prepared in the brick oven that produces heat up to 400 degrees helps in retaining original juices of the dishes intact. These dishes usually take around fifteen to twenty minutes to reach your table, once you ordered. The best way to have a great five course meal experience at Ten Towns is to order every meal before hand and then relax on a drink waiting for the dishes to come one after another. To make your evening extra special TEN TOWNS has live singing performance throughout this month of august. Mr Bazil who has been performing live singing for more than a decade will be present at TEN TOWNS on Wednesdays and Fridays. The genre of the music will be slow English love songs and the guests can also put special requests for listening to particular love songs of their liking.
