There is bad news for Tandoori roti eaters in Madhya Pradesh. Now tandoori roti will not be available in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior. In view of increasing air pollution, Madhya Pradesh government has banned Tandoori. A fine of up to Rs 5 lakh will be imposed for disobeying the orders of the government.

Actually, air pollution is spreading rapidly in many cities of Madhya Pradesh. To stop this, the government has also geared up. The government has taken this step in view of air pollution. The Food Department of Madhya Pradesh has issued this order. Notices have been given by the Food Department to the hotel-dhaba operators of the state. The Food Department has cited increasing pollution under the order.

Dhaba-hotels will have a huge impact
In the issued order, the Food Department has clearly told the operators of hotels and dhabas that wood-coal tandoor will not be used anymore. In lieu of this, instructions have also been given to use electric oven or LPG gas cylinder. Tell that there is a tremendous trend of Tandoori Roti in Madhya Pradesh. People in the state are very fond of eating tandoori roti. But after these instructions of the state government, the lovers of Tandoori roti have got a shock. Also, this order has given sleepless nights to the owners of dhaba-hotels. Dhaba owners fear that after these orders of the government, there will be a tremendous impact on the dhaba hotel business.

AQI of major cities of the state
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPC) report, Gwalior’s AQI has reached 329, while Bhopal’s 299, Katni 263, Pithampur 260, Mandideep 260, Jabalpur 214, Singrauli 253 and Ujjain’s air quality index has reached 181. PLC/GT
