An encounter has started between terrorists and security forces in Jetsun forest area of Alusa Bandipora. According to sources, one terrorist has been killed in the initial firing. And this encounter has now escalated to Chuntpathri area of Bandipora. Joint teams of Police Bandipora and 26 Assam Rifles are involved in the operation.
The situation at the encounter site remains tense, more details are awaited. The area has been cordoned off by security forces and the operation is underway.
