Mohan Bhagwat Performs Shastra Puja
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has begun its Vijayadashmi celebrations in Nagpur, marking the completion of 100 years since its formation. This year’s event is significant as RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is expected to deliver an important address.
Earlier today, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and former President Ram Nath Kovind performed Shastra Puja (worship of arms) at the RSS headquarters. On this occasion, Bhagwat also offered floral tributes to the statue of RSS founder Dr. K.B. Hedgewar.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind attended the celebrations as the chief guest. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present on stage.
The celebrations began with a parade by RSS volunteers, showcasing discipline and cultural strength. As part of the centenary celebrations, several events will be organized across the country.
With all eyes on Mohan Bhagwat’s Vijayadashmi speech, the address is expected to highlight the RSS’s vision for India and mark the organization’s journey of 100 years.
