Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also criticized the PM’s schedule, calling it an “insult to the people of Manipur.”

In a post on X, Ramesh said, “The Prime Minister is spending only three hours in Manipur. People have been waiting for him for so long, and now he is just making a short, formal trip. This is not a real visit, it is only a formality.”

Ramesh termed it a “non-visit” and said the people of Manipur deserved far more attention from the Prime Minister after months of unrest.
