Raghubar Das invites world tourists to Jharkhand, says Dhoni will be brand ambassador

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Chief Minister Raghubar Das wished all domestic as well as world tourists  & invited them to visit Jharkhand & experience its glorious history, unique culture & panoramic scenery. He said that Jharkhand Tourism is to be branded & Indian Cricket Skipper Mr. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be the brand ambassador. He informed that on 2nd October, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will initiate online the rejuvenation & preservation of terracotta temples of Maluti with a cost of Rs. 13 crores. He said this while addressing the ‘ Unexplored Jharkhand -2015’ program organized on the occasion of World Tourism Day at Hotel Raddison Blue. He also dedicated the tourism policy of Jharkhand to the people of the state & felicitated people having remarkable contribution in developing tourism on this occasion.
Referring to various aspects of Jharkhand tourism, the CM said that the state is rich in various tourisms including eco-tourism, religious tourism, cultural tourism, medical tourism, adventure & mining tourism. He appealed to the people to advertize Jharkhand wherever they go. He said that Appolo Hospital has been given land for Rs. 1 (one) to boost up medical tourism.
Referring to film-maker Retwik Ghatak, the CM said that he started his film-career from Jharkhand. He directed two documentaries named  ‘Aadivasion ka jeevan strot’ & ‘ Bihar ke darshniya asthal’ for Information & Public Relation Department. His films ‘ Ajantrik’, ‘Suvarnarekha’  & ‘Arayna- din- ratri’ were shot in Jharkhand.
The CM laid stress on developing tourist circuit   to Shantiniketan, Bolepur, Tarapeeth, Maluti, Basukinath & Deoghar along with Bodhgaya & Itkhori. Moreover, the delegation of Jain Community has given their proposal for the development of famous Jain temple Parasnath. The CM has assured them that Parasnath & Madhuban  will be developed keeping the sanctity of Shre Sammed Shikhar Jee.
Tourism Minister Mr. Amar Kr. Bauri said that  Jharkhand is rich with her nature- its mountains, springs, waterfalls, greenery &  various manifestations but away from the sight of the world.
The Tourism Secretary Mr. Avinash Kumar recited a few lines from Agyey which he had written on 6th  February, 1949  on his bus journey from Muri to Ranchi.
The vote of thanks was given by Tourism Director, Suchitra Sinha. On this occasion, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Mr. Ashok Bhagat of Vikash Bharati, Bishunpur & President, Indian Chamber of Commerce Mr. Shiv Siddhant Kaul along with many dignitaries were present on this occasion.
