Among these pivotal collaborations, the decision to augment the partnership in defense manufacturing stands as a cornerstone for both India and France. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Macron underscored their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties, particularly in defense, culminating in a comprehensive roadmap to fortify the defense industrial ecosystem in both nations.
Strengthening Defense Industrial Collaboration
At the forefront of this alliance lies the agreement to facilitate the manufacture of Scorpene-class submarines and their components within India.
