Jaipur — : Prof. Trilok Kumar Jain, Director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) at Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU), has dedicated his latest book, “Urban Waste Management,” to the eminent philanthropist, policy advocate, and Swachhta Ambassador Prof. D P Sharma who is restleslly providing his promotional support to Swachhta Hi Seva Hai (a mega mission of Indian PM Shri Narendra Modi).

Prof. D P Sharma has made remarkable contributions to the Swachh Bharat Mission, playing a vital role in shaping public opinion and influencing policy on sanitation and cleanliness in India. Through his tireless efforts, thoughtful writings, and public awareness campaigns, Prof. Sharma has brought significant attention to the critical need for efficient waste management and hygiene in both rural and urban India. His articles and columns in various leading media platforms have not only educated the public but have also inspired countless individuals and institutions to actively participate in the Swachh Bharat Mission. His deep commitment to national cleanliness and environmental well-being has transformed the mission into a true people’s movement.
