PM Modi’s Gujarat Visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his home state of Gujarat on Saturday to inspect the progress of the National Marine Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal, Ahmedabad. The mega project, worth around ₹4,500 crore, is being developed as a world-class center showcasing India’s rich maritime legacy.
During his visit, PM Modi will hold review meetings with officials to oversee the development of this ambitious project.

Lothal, once a key trading center of the Indus Valley Civilization, has been chosen as the site of this complex. According to the Gujarat CM’s Office, the project reflects one of PM Modi’s “five vows” – preserving ancient heritage.
The NMHC will blend history, education, research, and entertainment, using cutting-edge technology to recreate the grandeur of ancient maritime culture.
