As per the Hindu Panchang, Ekadashi Tithi begins on 3 September 2025 at 4:00 AM and ends on 4 September at 4:21 AM. The fast will be observed on 3 September 2025.
Auspicious Puja Time: 7:35 AM to 9:10 AM
Importance of Parivartini Ekadashi
This vrat is also called Padma Ekadashi.
It is believed that by observing this fast, one gets the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, ensuring happiness, prosperity, and abundance in the household.
According to the Puranas, those who keep this fast are freed from the cycle of birth and death and are protected from sufferings of the afterlife.
Rules and Restrictions
Tulsi leaves should not be plucked on Parivartini Ekadashi.
Watering Tulsi is also prohibited on this day.
Rice consumption must be strictly avoided, as scriptures say it brings sin.
