Oppo’s latest flagship, the X9, has created instant buzz in the smartphone market, with 10,000 units pre-booked within 30 minutes of its 8 PM launch window, according to early reports from Oppo India.
The device, powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, has recorded an impressive 2.5 million points on AnTuTu, placing it among the top-performing Android phones of 2025.
Benchmark leaks suggest that the Dimensity 9400 rivals Samsung’s Exynos 2500 in AI-driven imaging, particularly in edge detection and low-light scene recognition — key areas of focus for next-gen smartphone photography.
The Oppo X9 features a refreshed AI camera system, 120Hz AMOLED display, and enhanced power efficiency, catering to both gaming and photography enthusiasts.
Analysts say the early sales response positions Oppo to challenge Samsung and Xiaomi in the premium flagship segment ahead of the holiday season.
The phone is now available for pre-booking through Oppo’s official website and major online retailers, with deliveries expected to begin later this month.
