Nursing Department of PGIMER, Chandigarh, along with students of NINE, celebrated “Cultural Eve Dhamaka” on 14.05.2013. This is a part of week long celebrations of Golden Jubilee International Nurses Week. Dr. Yogesh Chawla, Director, PGI, was Chief Guest of the event and Dr. Atul Sachdev, Director-Principal, GMCH, Sector 32, was the Guest of Honour. The Eve started with musical orchestra. The programme had a message of national integration. Various other programmes like dances of various states – Punjabi gidha, Himachali Natti; skits depicting social issues like female foeticide, songs and Bhangra were the attractions of the eve.
