Tel Aviv. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with US President Biden on the phone on Wednesday. The two leaders spoke for the first time in the last 50 days. It is being told that there was a discussion between the two leaders on responding to Iran’s missile attack. Israel said that its retaliation would be devastating. But Biden has opposed targeting Iran’s nuclear or oil production sites. Netanyahu had stopped his defense minister from going to the US until he spoke to Biden.

Israel’s Defense Minister said on Wednesday that his attack on Iran would be deadly and shocking. He said that there would be a strong response to the recent missile attack by Iran. Iran will be shocked by the Israeli attack. Without giving any details, the Defense Minister said that he would not be able to understand what happened and how it happened. Last week, Iran fired several missiles at Israel, which has further increased tensions between the two countries, which the whole world is worried about.

Biden has long been disappointed and angry with Netanyahu’s methods of war in Gaza as well as Israel’s fighting in Lebanon. He has also expressed regret over not adopting a strategy to end the conflict, but the White House described the conversation on Wednesday as direct and productive and the PMO said that the conversation was positive. During this, Vice President Kamala Harris was also listening to the conversation on this phone.

The White House did not give any information about the US stand on a possible Israeli retaliatory strike against Iran. However, in the conversation, Biden had said that he is helping Israel in every way. According to the PMO, Donald Trump called Netanyahu last week and congratulated him for the operations carried out by Israel against Hezbollah.
