Pollution is a national headache nowadays. People are falling sick because of this pollution. From 5 years to 50 years, everyone is battling with this. We all know that for that pollution cause Delhi is in news every day; but the shocking news is 90% of the Indian cities are facing this toxic air trouble. Maximum major cities in India are not maintaining the standard pollution level. And for that reason people are falling sick day by day.
The main diseases which can be caused by this air pollution are Pneumonia, Lungs disease, Asthma and the list goes on and on. Besides air pollution, water pollution also is in the race, and this causes Jaundice. We know that smoking is injurious to health, but in India smoking is a national habit. This smoking can cause Lung disease and also Asthma. In a survey in the year 2015 for 168 cities by Greenpeace India, 154 cities were crossed the standard level of air pollution. According to WHO (World Health Organization) those 154 cities were not matching with their prescribed air quality standard. Studies say that most of the senior citizens and middle age people are affecting first. This dangerous pollution is taking a toll on their normal life. Apart from these diseases Migraine, Choking throat & chest and even Thyroid can cause because of this pollution.
For this pollution issue on can get Pneumonia in daily life. It is a very common disease nowadays also called community-associated pneumonia. This usually activate because intake of germs while breathing. This disease will make a person so ill that his lungs cannot even fight with the germs. That means Pneumonia causes immunity disorder too. Like this, Asthma is also a lung affecting disease. This disease mainly caused by the inflammable lungs. Because of the inflammable lungs one cannot pass the air through the airways, as the airways are swollen. Apart from this air pollution illness water pollution also causes jaundice like disease. Jaundice is mainly caused by the increasing the bilirubin amount in blood. Bilirubin is a yellow-colored unwanted thing in our body that remains in the bloodstream after iron is discarded from the blood. Jaundice patients usually mark with discolored skin and white area of eyes become yellow.
Day by day the pollution is increasing. This is affecting normal life. People are falling sick excessively. These kinds of diseases have become a daily life trauma these days. But if you follow some home remedies for these diseases that can be very helpful to you and your family. Some remedies are really effective. Like if you take lukewarm water 2-3 times a day your immunity system will work properly. Lukewarm water helps us to prevent from illness. Make this a habit and do it every day. From the ancient history Yoga plays a vital role in India. Yoga can cure these kinds of diseases too. If you do OMvilom and Jalnati every day, it will surely help you to grow your immune system. One hour of early morning yoga can give you a kick to start a new day.
Herbal treatment is famous in India. People say, what medicine cannot do, herbs shows their magic there. Herbal therapy is way helpful for those people who are affected by these kinds of diseases. All you have to do is take some pudina and tulsi leaves, boil them in water. Take steam with that warm water for 5 minutes twice a day. If you have basil oil, put one drop of it in warm water and take steam. This will help you to work your respiratory system normally. And one more important thing is to do gargle every day with warm water and a small pinch of salt in it.
There is a proverb, “Prevention is better than cure.” This one sentence defines that we should take care of ourselves from the beginning. Not that after the illness affects us then we start doing remedies. So how we should take care of us from the beginning? We should take proper food. Our staple food carries the main load to protect us from germs and illness. Besides staple food you can add some homemade diet to your food list like Haldi Milk (Turmeric Milk) is a very effective drink for our body. It holds a great benefit. Add a teaspoon full haldi to a glass of water and drink it.
Milk is the huge source of calcium and in the other hand haldi is a natural antibiotic. The combination of these two natural components in your every day diet can help you to block the illness. Haldi Milk is very helpful remedy for Respiratory Illness (Pneumonia, Asthma). It is effective on respiratory system because of its antimicrobial elements. The spice (turmeric) warmth your body and the warmth helps the lungs to comfort the blockage.
Apart from these, one can add 2 drops of aroma oil in 250 ml of water and pour it in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture everywhere in your house, especially in the bedroom. This spray is so effective that it can help you to reduce stress and lifestyle related diseases to a great extent.
Instead of biscuit or cookie you can try Kava with your tea or coffee. Make kava with basen milk and sugar. It’s very healthy and tasty, which also prevent us from infectiousness. With herbs you can make healthy and tasty tea to boost your energy. To make that first Boil water; then put some ginger along with basil leaves, pudina and some cloves in it. This drink will also prevent sinus disorder. When our immunity system falls, we fall sick. To hold up the right immunity you can try this Clove & Black Pepper drink too. Boil one cup of water, put 2 clove leaves and 5 seeds of black pepper in the water, your healthy drink is ready.
In this polluted environment we are struggling with sickness day by day. But we cannot stay at home, as we all have to go out and confront the pollution. With those small remedies you can protect yourself from diseases. Your immunity system will increase as your red blood cells will be effective more. Eat the right food and keep yourself fit; your body will be strong enough to fight illness.
