National workshop on homeopathy in cardiology in the forthcoming Perfect Health Mela

INVC,,

Delhi,,

For the first time, a national workshop will be organised on Homeopathy in Cardiology in the forthcoming MTNL Perfect Health Mela being organised in the city from  7th to 11th November, 2012 at Constitution Club of India. The workshop will be held on Saturday, 10th November, 2012 at the Mela venue. Over 500 homeopaths and Allopaths with interest in cardiology will be deliberating on various issues related to preventive and diagnostic cardiology.
Giving the details, Padma Shri & Dr. B.C. Roy National Awardee, Dr. KK Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India, said that  Crataegus is a drug used in homeopathy and has features similar to angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) in Allopathy. All heart patients on homeopathic drugs invariably received this homeopathic tincture. Both homeopaths and allopathic doctors should be familiar each other’s drugs. If homeopathic Crataegus is combined with allopathic ACEIs, a drug overdose may result.
Similarly, there are homeopathic tinctures equivalent to allopathic beta blockers, aspirin, statins etc.  Both homeopathic and allopathic drugs can be combined in certain individuals and for this homeopathic and allopathic cardiologists should work together.
