The Government has issued the National Code against Age Fraud in Sports, which aims at ensuring fair play in sports. The Code shall be operative from 1st April, 2010 and shall be binding upon all athletes and sports bodies. As per the Code approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, all new and existing players participating in age restricted tournaments will be required to once undergo a compulsory medical examination for age determination after which they will be issued an identity card by Sports Authority of India (SAI)/ National Sports Federation ( NSFs)concerned. Once an I-Card is issued, fresh medical examination will not be required for subsequent participation. Any existing athlete found to be overage, will have the option to appeal and in case he/she is found to be overage even after going through the appeal process, he/she shall not be allowed to participate in the competitions meant for lower age groups.
Sports Authority of India will notify a panel of doctors and hospitals state/region wise for carrying out the medical examination and also the list of appellate panel of hospitals. The cost for medical examination conducted by Sports Authority of India and NSFs shall be reimbursed by the Government. Compliance with the Code will become part of the eligibility criteria for recognition of National Sports Federations by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and hence non-compliance with the code will attract suspension/de-recognition clause in respect of the defaulting Federations.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a family wedding in Tuscany in June this year. At first I wasn’t overjoyed to be planning my first Italy non-business trip in early June, as I was afraid of the post-Memorial Day flood of Americans heading to Europe. Besides, I had always envisioned my Italy holiday as a September vacation in a villa rented with 2 or 3 other couples…a real Tuscan house party.
Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time
