Murthy Bjas has taken over as Group Director (Business operations) in the Hong Kong-based Conplex International, a multinational conglomerate into International sourcing and also the sole sourcing partner for JIVI mobile phones.
With a career spanning over 2 decades, mostly in telecom and FMCG space, Bjas has worked at senior positions in high-profile companies like Globacom Nigeria Limited, Vodafone India, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel. He has also held business leadership roles in Africa.

We have strong ambitions of creating successful business across our group and Bjas is committed to deliver on this” Conplex International Managing Director Mr C P Batheja said in a statement.
Between 2008 to 2016, Bjas had served as COO for Vodafone UP Operations, and later went on to become the Country Head of Products and Services for Vodafone India before taking over responsibility as Operations Director. His last serving stint was as Operations Director for New Businesses and Partnerships.
His Africa stint was with Globacom Nigeria Limited, a partner market of Vodafone PLC, heading their West African Businesses in Nigeria, Ghana & Benin.
Capitalising on his in-depth understanding of the Indian and African markets, Bjas has played strong role as an Advisor, Management Consultant and an investor in start-ups. He has also worked with a several mid–sized companies in the Telecom and Digital space.
