MRPL observed National Law Day on 26th November 2015 at all its offices across the country with the objective of building “Legal Awareness to Minimize Business Risks”. The highlight of the 2 day long activities was the release of a nifty compilation of laws that are relevant to MRPL’s businessby Shri H. Kumar, Managing Director of MRPL, at a function held at MRPL Mangaluru.
Speaking on the occasion ShriH. Kumar briefly touched upon the Fundamental Rights further protected by ‘Right to constitutional remedies’, the canons of justice and Govt of India’s efforts to ensure justice to all through the legal recourse made available to even the less privileged through the District, State and National Legal Centres.
MD also touched upon the ‘Class Action Suits’ and urged all to develop a ‘common sense’ of law through an alert attitude and general reading. ShriH.Kumar lauded the initiative taken by the Legal Services Department of MRPL to observe the National Law Day for the first time with the object of enhancing legal awareness amongst Team MRPL.
