Mohan Bhagwat Reiterates His Pledge of “Akhand Bharat”

Satna (Madhya Pradesh): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has once again reiterated his vision of “Akhand Bharat”, declaring that “Someone has taken over one of our rooms; we have to camp there again.”

Addressing a large public gathering at the BTI Ground in Satna, Bhagwat said, “When history opened its eyes, it saw us in an advanced form. Long before that, our sages and saints discovered this truth and built a nation upon it. Because of this, Bharat can impart this wisdom to the world at any time.”

Bhagwat noted that many Sindhi brothers, after Partition, chose to come to India instead of Pakistan. “This sentiment must be passed to the new generation because we have one home. Circumstances forced us from one room to another, but both belong to the same house. The entire India is one home,” he said.

Drawing a symbolic analogy, Bhagwat added, “Someone has taken over one room of our house—the one with my table, chair, and clothes. Tomorrow, we must reclaim it and camp there again. This is why we must always remember that this is undivided India.”

Cultural and Linguistic Self-Reliance

Reaffirming his call for cultural unity, Bhagwat urged Indians to embrace their own language, clothing, hymns, architecture, and traditions. “We must decide that what is ours must remain ours. Sometimes, even those who deny being Hindus are called ‘Hindi’ or ‘Hindvi’ abroad. They are surprised and try to reject it, but the world continues to see them as Hindus. We must accept this truth and live together,” he stated.

On the Language Debate

Touching on the issue of linguistic diversity, Bhagwat said, “While India has many languages, their essence remains the same. Every language has originated from the same source. All are national languages of India. Every citizen should know at least three languages—the language of home, the state, and the nation.”

During his two-day visit to Satna, Bhagwat also inaugurated the newly constructed building of Baba Mehar Shah Darbar on Sunday.
