Malaysia has officially announced the long-awaited resumption of the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, marking the most significant development in the case in more than a decade. The new deep-sea operation is scheduled to begin on December 30, 2025, rekindling global attention on one of aviation’s most enduring and heartbreaking mysteries.
MH370 vanished on March 8, 2014, while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on board, including nationals from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, India, and several other countries. Ocean Infinity’s enhanced deep-water robotics and data-mapping systems will be deployed across a newly modeled section of the seabed, shaped by recent satellite insights and drift analysis.
