The storm of Kantara Chapter 1 continues at the box office. Rishabh Shetty’s much-awaited prequel is dominating collections across India, nearing the ₹300 crore mark in just six days.

According to early trade reports, Kantara Chapter 1 has earned a whopping ₹33.5 crore on its sixth day, bringing its total domestic collection to around ₹290 crore. At this pace, the film is expected to enter the prestigious ₹300 crore club within a day.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Struggles Amid Kantara’s Wave

Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan’s romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is facing a tough time at the box office. The film earned only ₹3 crore on its sixth day, bringing its total to ₹36.25 crore. Despite positive buzz before release, the movie is losing screens and collections due to the Kantara Chapter 1 craze.

OG Collections Decline After a Strong Start

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s action film OG has entered its 13th day in theaters. The film earned ₹1.40 crore on Tuesday, taking its total to ₹185.85 crore. While the film initially saw huge crowds, Kantara Chapter 1’s phenomenal performance has slowed down its momentum in major centers.

Jolly LLB 3 Fades Out of the Race

Akshay Kumar’s courtroom drama Jolly LLB 3 is nearing the end of its theatrical run. On its 19th day, the film earned only ₹75 lakh, bringing the total collection to ₹109.40 crore. Despite its strong franchise name, the film has failed to sustain against newer releases.

The Verdict

With Kantara Chapter 1 racing towards ₹300 crore, it has clearly emerged as the dominant force at the Indian box office this week. Other releases — OG, Jolly LLB 3, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari — are struggling to hold their ground against Rishabh Shetty’s cinematic storm.
