Protesters Demand Ceasefire and Release of Hostages
In cities like Tel Aviv and West Jerusalem, Israeli citizens have taken to the streets, fervently calling for a ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages held by Hamas. Protesters have blocked major roads and staged rallies outside the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Hostage and Missing Families Forum has sharply criticized Netanyahu’s administration, alleging that the recent deaths of six hostages are directly attributable to the government’s failure to secure a ceasefire and negotiate their return. According to the Forum, these individuals suffered prolonged abuse, torture, and starvation over the past eleven months before their deaths.

Amidst the turmoil, Gil Dickman, a relative of one of the deceased hostages, has urged Israelis to escalate their pressure on the government. Through social media, Dickman has called for nationwide protests and the closure of businesses until all hostages are safely returned.
