Doha — Negotiations to extend the Israel-Hamas truce have stalled in Qatar, even as the fragile ceasefire entered its 45th day. Diplomatic sources said talks hit a deadlock over terms of hostage exchanges and troop positions in southern Gaza.
The situation on the ground remains tense after aid convoy attacks killed at least 12 people near Khan Younis, prompting renewed international condemnation. The United Nations has urged Israel to establish an “immediate humanitarian corridor” to ensure safe delivery of food, fuel, and medical supplies to civilians trapped in conflict zones.
