Indian Bank Recruitment 2025 Notification Out
Indian Bank has released the official notification for the recruitment of 171 Specialist Officer (SO) posts. The online application process has started on September 23, 2025, and will remain open till October 13, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website – indianbank.in.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications to be eligible:
Bachelor’s Degree, B.Tech/B.E., Master’s Degree, CA, MSc, MBA/PGDM, MCA, ICSI (in relevant fields).
Age Limit:
Minimum: 23 years
Maximum: 36 years
Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.
Application Fee
General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,000
SC/ST/PH: ₹175

Salary Structure
Scale II: ₹64,820 – ₹93,960
Scale III: ₹85,920 – ₹1,05,280
Scale IV: ₹1,02,300 – ₹1,20,940
Exam Pattern
The online exam will consist of 160 questions for 220 marks with a duration of 2 hours.
English Language: 20 questions, 20 marks
Professional Knowledge (Relevant Area): 60 questions, 120 marks
Reasoning Ability: 40 questions, 40 marks
Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions, 40 marks
👉 Only Professional Knowledge marks will be considered for the final result. Other sections are qualifying in nature.
Negative Marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer.
Interview: 100 marks. Shortlisted candidates will be called in a ratio of 3:1 for General and 5:1 for Reserved categories.
