Srinagar – Security forces killed three terrorists in an operation that lasted more than 24 hours against terrorists near the Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir. Army’s White Knight Corps has killed three terrorists in Akhnoor operation. White Knight Corps posted on X, “After round-the-clock surveillance, there was a fierce firing on Tuesday morning, due to which our forces got a significant victory and all three terrorists were killed in the encounter. A group of terrorists fired on the army convoy targeting an ambulance near the temple near the LoC in Bhattal area, after which special forces, police and army launched operation ‘Asan’.
Dog Phantom also made the supreme sacrifice in the operation
The defense spokesperson said that the army’s specialist dog Phantom also made the supreme sacrifice in the operation. He said, we salute the supreme sacrifice of our true hero, a brave army dog, Phantom. When our soldiers were getting close to the trapped terrorists, Phantom came under enemy fire, due to which Phantom suffered fatal injuries. His courage, loyalty and dedication will never be forgotten. There have been seven attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in the last two weeks. In this, two soldiers were martyred and 13 people died. After the attacks, high alert was already issued for the border districts of Jammu including Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch and Rajouri. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha held a review meeting in Srinagar on the security situation and development aspects of all the districts of Kashmir division.
