India sent 3,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid

India has sent a new consignment of 3,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan via Pakistan’s land route as a humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.

With this consignment, India in partnership with the World Food Program (WFP) has completed sending 33,500 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted, India has sent a consignment of 3,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan.

Our commitment to providing humanitarian aid to the Afghan people remains steadfast. So far, India in collaboration with WFP has successfully sent a consignment of 33,500 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan, he said. PLC/GT
