IIT professors will train government school teachers to teach children
IIT Professors, teachers of government schools of the state will be given training to teach children. Professors will teach small activities of science, maths and technology, so that they can easily explain them to children.
To make teaching easy to government school teachers, experts from IIT Indore have designed ‘STEM’ (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) course for teachers under Center for Creative Learning (CCL). Teachers of government schools selected for STEM will be given training from August 5 to 7.
This training will be given by IIT Indore to the teachers of government schools for the subject of Mathematics, Science and Technology under the National Invention Campaign. The State Education Center has issued orders in this regard. In the first phase, training will be given to more than 150 teachers of Agar-Malwa, Shajapur, Ujjain, Ratlam and Mandsaur districts.
After this, the teachers of other districts will also be given training. IIT professors will explain to the teachers through scientific method. In this, information will be given about global warming and green energy, importance of mathematical equations, the nuances of geometry by making triangles, circles, quadrilaterals and graphing of formulas etc. Information about principles of physics with trigonometry and electric motor will be given through webline (waves).
Apart from this, why there are different methods of property, division, addition and subtraction, it will also be explained. On behalf of the department, teachers of government schools of the state are being given this online training with the aim of increasing their theoretical understanding of science and maths subjects. The program will be held from 10 am to 5.10 pm. Teachers will also have to attend the program by taking science and maths textbooks of classes VI to VIII. Certificates will also be given to them at the end of the workshop.
In this time, Dhanaraju S, director of the State Education Center, says that a workshop is being organized by the IIT professors to train the teachers of the schools, so that they can easily explain the complexities of science and mathematics to the children. PLC/GT
