New Delhi : A political news has come out amidst Haryana Assembly elections. There can be an alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party in the elections here. Both the parties are already members of India Block. According to Congress sources, this initiative has been taken by Rahul Gandhi. In the Central Election Committee meeting, Rahul Gandhi asked the leaders of Haryana about this. After this, a senior leader was assigned the duty to talk to the state leaders about this. Earlier in the Lok Sabha elections also, Congress-AAP had contested the elections together. Congress contested on 9 seats and AAP on 1 seat. Congress won 5 seats but AAP lost the Kurukshetra seat. However, after fighting together in Chandigarh elections, Congress-AAP won the corporation and Lok Sabha elections.
According to Congress sources, in the election committee meeting, Rahul Gandhi asked the leaders whether we should form an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana? After trying to know the opinion there, the senior leader was asked to talk to the leaders. A report has been sought about whether the alliance is possible or not and if it happens, what will be its advantages and disadvantages.
Lok Sabha election formula will be adopted
It is believed that if there is an alliance, then the Lok Sabha election formula can be adopted for seat sharing. The situation can be clear in the second meeting of the Central Election Committee to be held this evening. Congress state in-charge Deepak Babaria said that an alliance can be formed. For this, talks are going on with AAP and other allied parties in the rest of India. We want to stop the polarization of votes and BJP in Haryana. On the other hand, Bhupendra Hooda said that if there is an alliance, then only 3-4 seats can be given to AAP. But, AAP is asking for more than this, so the alliance is difficult. On the other hand, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said that Congress has come to know that it cannot win Haryana. Therefore, it is taking some measures at the last moment. It is talking about alliance with AAP but the people of the state are with BJP. Congress can do whatever it wants, form alliance with anyone, BJP will come. Defeating BJP is a priority
AAP’s Sanjay Singh said that defeating BJP and its politics of hatred and politics against people, farmers and youth is a priority for all of us. However, Singh said that any official stand on the issue will be decided by AAP’s Haryana affairs in-charge Sandeep Pathak and state president Sushil Gupta. The senior AAP leader said, any final decision in this regard will be taken by our leaders involved in organisational and election related work in Haryana after Kejriwal’s approval.
In summary, while the potential Congress-AAP alliance is aimed at challenging BJP’s stronghold in Haryana, both parties face internal and external challenges in formalizing this collaboration. The success of this alliance will depend on overcoming disagreements and effectively mobilizing opposition support.
