Growel’s 101 Mall paid an ‘artistic’ tribute to women with their annual extravaganza ArtiSTREE — a unique show that encourages the creative instincts in women. The Mall has been holding the event each year as part of its celebrations for International Women’s Day.
The four-day festivity that began on March 8 provided an exclusive platform to women to showcase their talent in different genres. As an encore of the popularity and overwhelming response that the event has been garnering since the past few years, the 5th Year too witnessed participation of hundreds of women eager to showcase their skills and talent, pursue their hobbies and chase their dreams.
ArtiSTREE-2018 spanned over five very innovative segments: Queen of Environment, Queen of Social Causes, Queen of Arts, Queen of Cuisines and Queen of Performance. Queen of Environment and Queen of Social Causes were two new segments added this year keeping in tandem with the growing concern over these issues.
Hundreds of Finalists chosen over auditions by professionals in the respective participation segments, were given an opportunity to host their own Art Exhibition, Cuisine Exhibition and showcase their talent on the Grand Finale Stage.
The Grand Finale held on 10th of March witnessed a Live Show by a renowned Playback Singer “Shweta Pandit”, an array of performances by talented participants and a Grand Felicitation Ceremony which was graced by successful women personalities from the Armed Forces, Corporate and Social Sector.
Talking about ArtiSTREE-2018, Vikas Shetty, Mall Head-Growel’s 101 Mall said, “Since the past 5 years, we have been putting our best foot forward to honour women on their special day. Women play so many roles in their life as mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, professional etc. In all this multi-tasking, they often do not find time to pursue their own passions and bring out their creative side. ArtiSTREE has been our little effort to give a platform to all the women to be showcase their talent. We have received a tremendous response for all our editions. It encourages us to bring out bigger and better versions of the show each year.”
