New Delhi : Team India’s experienced fast bowler Mohammed Shami has given good news to the fans. This veteran has started bowling after recovering from injury. This bowler, who is active on social media, shared a video of himself bowling on Tuesday.

In the video posted on Instagram, Shami is seen bowling with a short and slow run-up. Obviously, after the surgery, he does not want to exert too much force at once. This bowler, who is gradually moving towards gaining fitness, is expected to return before the upcoming Test series to be played in India.

Mohammad Shami played the ICC ODI World Cup in 2023 despite injury. He took a total of 7 wickets in the semi-final match played against New Zealand. His bowling did not work against Australia in the final and he could take only 1 wicket. By winning the match by 6 wickets, the Kangaroo team broke India’s dream of winning the World Cup.

Mohammad Shami had to undergo Achilles tendon surgery after the World Cup. Due to injury, Shami was also out of the home series played with Australia and then the recent T20 World Cup after IPL 2024.
