Inaugurating an Exhibition of paintings by Pratiksha Apurv, showcasing her 10th Solo show at Punjab Kala Bhawan here today, the Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Mr. Shivraj V. Patil, said that Art has value in itself, which is embedded in each and every aspect of our life. He said art is also a powerful mode of communication through which an artist shares his/her inner thoughts, feelings dreams and illusions. He said good artists are those who can trigger emotions and feelings amongst their audiences with ease and to a great effect.  Showing keen interest in Exhibition, Mr. Patil said each painting of Pratiksha Apurv depicts beautiful movements lived in a meditative environment. He said each painting has its own history, highlighting the relationship between the creator and the canvas. The paintings have the vision of her master.Appreciating the art work of Mrs Pratiksha, Mr. Patil said this exhibition will help in awakening the inner spark amongst all those who come to witness it. He said inner world is bigger than the outer world and in all the 32 paintings of Pratiksha in this exhibition was an invitation to learn more about Osho’s teachings and experiences. Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Swami urushottam, Mr. M.P. Singh, Principal Secretary to Governor, Mr. Hansraj Hans, Mrs. Harjinder Kaur, former Mayor, Mr. Dewan Manna, Chairman Lalik Kala Akademi and Prof. Ravinder Sharma, Chandigarh Art College.
