The precious metals market witnessed a mixed trend on Friday as gold prices climbed while silver registered a slight dip. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24K gold surged to ₹1,28,592 per 10 grams by Friday afternoon. In contrast, silver slipped to ₹1,78,210 per kilogram, reflecting ongoing volatility in the bullion market.
With global cues fluctuating and domestic demand varying ahead of the wedding season, gold and silver rates have been oscillating between sharp jumps and mild corrections over the past several days.
