Berlin, 15 November 2025 — Germany has announced a €150 million contribution to the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL), NATO’s funding mechanism for procuring critical military equipment for Ukraine. This pledge underscores Germany’s deepening support for Kyiv as the war continues.
In addition, Germany has earmarked €11.5 billion in its 2026 federal budget to support Ukraine, making it one of the largest long-term aid commitments by a European ally.

The PURL mechanism allows NATO allies to coordinate purchases of U.S.-made weapons, ensuring Ukraine receives urgently needed systems efficiently.
