The Congress party has made very serious allegations against both Adani Group and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The party has claimed that Adani Group is involved in anti-national activities in collaboration with a Chinese firm. Not only this, Congress has also alleged that PM Modi is trying to save Adani as well as China.
Congress made this sensational allegation on PM Modi and Adani Group in the press conference held on Thursday in Delhi. The Congress has alleged that till now it was known that only Modi ji has cordial relations with China. But now it has also been revealed about his friend Adani ji. Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate told the media that a Chinese firm is involved in several projects of Adani and many of these projects are strategically important. The Congress claimed that the Adani Group, in collaboration with a Chinese firm, is thus interfering in the country’s infrastructure, which is an anti-national activity.
The Congress alleged in its press conference that the name of this Chinese firm is ‘PMC Projects’ and it operates from the premises of Adani Enterprises. According to the Congress, the ownership of this Chinese firm PMC Projects is with a Chinese citizen, Morris Chang. The Congress claims that Morris Chang’s father Chang Chung-Ling is a close friend and business partner of Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod Adani. The party’s research and monitoring in-charge Amitabh Dubey, who was present with Supriya Shrinate, said that in 2005, Chinese national Chang Chung-ling and Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod Adani had the same home address in Singapore.
Chang Chung-Ling is the former chairman of Adani Virginia and this company (Adani Virginia) was also a subsidiary of Vinod Adani’s company.
Congress has claimed that the Chinese company PMC is involved in important infrastructure projects of the country – Mundra, Dahej, Hazira and Kandla Port Gujarat, Mormugao Port Goa, Visakhapatnam Port Andhra Pradesh, Power Transmission Project Maharashtra and Road-Railway Infrastructure Gujarat.
Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari launched a scathing attack on BJP and PM Modi on the basis of these allegations and said, BJP did not make Adani climb the ladder, put Adani on lift and took him straight to number two.
