As the election of the new President of the Congress party is approaching. The leaders are now coming out openly in support of the candidature of the candidates. So far, veteran leaders were not able to openly praise or support a candidate. But now this series has started rapidly. As a president, the Congress party will be in “safe hands”. Congress party desperately needs a president like him. He has openly supported Kharge’s candidature, while G-23 group member Shashi Tharoor is also in the fray. There is a direct contest between Kharge and Tharoor for the post of president.
Tewari said that Kharge is one of the leaders dedicated to the service of Congress if all the facts are considered and evaluated objectively. He has spent more than 50 years of his life in the service of Congress party. In all these matters, I believe, the Congress party needs ‘safe hands’ in the form of Kharge. He said that Kharge is a leader with a very calm personality, who has risen from the lowest positions in the party. He expressed the hope that the Congress, which needs stability, can certainly provide that.

Please tell that Tiwari is one of the proponents of Kharge. Along with Tiwari, another G23 leader Anand Sharma is also a proponent.
