How many times have you looked into the mirror and hated your flat cheeks that make you look like an anorexic? How many times have you wished to have fuller cheeks with high cheekbones, much like the beautiful Kareena Kapoor or Aishwarya Rai? Rather than stare at the mirror and wish they were designed differently, many a women today are realizing their desire to have a better facial frame by opting for fillers based procedures like Juvederm that are non surgical and take just a few minutes of your time.

Why the midface area matters a lot? The area below our eyes, right up to our mouth is the facial area that has the most important bearing on our appearance. Full and high cheeks augment beauty; make you appear radiant and attractive.  Having fuller and more prominent cheeks is a desire many a women nurse, particularly when age takes away the volume and makes the cheeks sag and appear flat. Some people are thin or are born with a facial structure that is characterized by flat cheeks. Others loose volume as they age. With age, the skin loses collagen, hyaluronic acid and other factors that give flexibility to the skin and keeps it young. The tissue around the cheeks bones starts sagging with years of gravitational pull behind it. All these factors give you a hollow look as you age. Certainly, not something to look forward too. Flat cheeks with no volume are also associated with a masculine look. Prominent and fuller cheeks give women more youthful and more attractive appearance, they give a three dimensional look to the face and are associated with feminity. A woman with flat cheeks may appear gaunt, even unhealthy.

How to get fuller cheeks without surgery? Some people undergo cheek upliftment surgeries to get a redefined look. However, most people are not thrilled by the idea of going under the knife and getting a permanent alteration done to their facial features. This is why non invasive non surgical cosmetic procedures like fillers have become immensely popular among women seeking a cheek enhancement procedure. Hyaluronic acid based fillers like Juvéderm, when administered by an expert into the desired area can replenish lost skin volume to regain a youthful curve to the cheeks and can be used to enhance the overall shape of your face. Juvéderm fillers are injectable hyaluronic acid volumizers that add fullness to areas that need a little more support or enhancement. After the procedure you will have facial contours that appear fuller and rounder, giving your face a softer, more youthful appearance. More importantly, this doesn’t give the face a ‘plastic’ look. The results are natural in appearance, uplifting and rejuvenating. The effects of one procedure last for up to six months and have additional benefits. Hyaluronic acid fillers not just add volume to the face but also fill up the lines and wrinkles that appear with age. So, after a cheek enhancement procedure with Juvederm, you will not only come out with more prominent cheeks but also have your nasobial folds (deep folds running from nose to mouth) as well as your marionette lines (smile lines around the mouth) diminished. Hyaluronic acid, being a hydrophilic agent also encourages water retention in the skin, providing a deep moisturizing effect, which also adds glow to the skin. Not just ageing women, even younger women, who desire to have more well defined, more symmetric face, are today opting for fillers like Juvederm. In the hands of an expert dermatologist, fillers can redefine your facial features and augment your appearance without making you look a plastic beauty.
