Sh. Jain said that the principles of ‘live and let live’, ‘co-existence of all living beings’, ‘restraint on one’s desires’, ‘not to have more than what you really require’, ‘mutual respect for each other’ and ‘respect for even your opponent’s point of view’ enunciated by Lord Mahavir are infact meant for the whole world and not only for the followers of any one religion or community. He said if the entire world follows these principles, many world problems can be solved and the world can usher into an era of world peace, rather than of wars.
