Emirates Diwali Celebration Flights : Emirates Airlines is bringing the festival of lights to the skies with its special Diwali 2025 flights from October 17 to 24. Passengers will experience Bollywood movies, traditional Indian sweets, and festive decorations onboard.
“Diwali is a celebration of joy and togetherness. We want passengers traveling during this festive season to experience the spirit of India, even at 35,000 feet,” said Emirates spokesperson Riya Sharma.
The airline’s initiative includes in-flight screenings of Bollywood hits, a curated menu featuring Indian snacks and sweets like ladoos, barfis, and jalebis, and specially decorated cabins with LED lamps and rangoli patterns. Emirates aims to give travelers a taste of home while maintaining its world-class luxury standards.
Frequent flyers and Indian diaspora passengers have welcomed the announcement. Travel blogger Ankit Mehra commented, “Flying Emirates during Diwali is like celebrating at home and in the air at the same time. The curated experience adds joy to long-haul journeys.”
Emirates has also partnered with Indian artists and musicians to offer digital performances and playlists onboard. Passengers can enjoy curated Diwali music, interviews with Bollywood stars, and storytelling about Diwali traditions.
