The Hon’ble Agriculture Minister and President of the ICAR Society has nominated Dr. V. K. Taneja, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana as member on the General Body of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Society for a period of three years w.e.f. 30.04.2013. This nomination is recognition of contributions made by Dr. Taneja in the field of Animal Husbandry, Dairy & Fisheries. The ICAR is the highest body of the country that promotes and co-ordinates agriculture.
