America’s newly elected President Donald Trump has made a shocking statement about Iran. In fact, during a conversation with Time magazine, Trump was asked how much possibility there is of war between Iran and America? In response, Trump said that anything can happen. Trump has been chosen as the Person of the Year by Time magazine.
Trump said that ‘Anything can happen. Anything can happen. This is a very unstable situation.’ Trump said, ‘He feels that the most dangerous situation at the moment is Ukraine firing missiles inside Russia, which can make the fight more fierce. It is worth noting that even during his first term, Trump’s attitude towards Iran was very tough. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had threatened to kill Trump, after which Trump had threatened Iran in strong words. However, Iran denied the allegations. In the year 2020, Trump himself approved the air strike against Iran, in which Iran’s top military commander Qasim Suleimani was killed.
Trump had imposed economic sanctions by breaking the nuclear deal with Iran. In 2015, a nuclear deal was signed between the US and Iran during the Barack Obama government, but in 2018, Trump broke that deal and imposed economic sanctions on Iran, which reduced Iran’s uranium enrichment capacity and its nuclear program suffered a major setback. Now that Trump is going to take over the responsibility of the US President again, it is believed that the US can again increase pressure on Iran. A leader close to Trump has said in his statement that from the very first day after assuming the presidency, Trump will work on a strategy to put pressure on Iran so that the ongoing situation in West Asia can be controlled.
