Inaugurating the Hindi month at the Dena Corporate Centre, Dena Bank’s Executive Director, Mr. Ashok Kumar Dutt said, “Language is the medium of communication and to reach banking services to the masses, it is important that we communicate with them in their language. Hindi and regional languages will play an extremely important role in financial inclusion”
Shri Tilak Raj Chawla, (CGM), Raj Bhasha, said, “If we communicate with our customers in their language, we can reach our services to them in a very simple manner”. On the occasion, Shri Chawla read out messages received from Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Union Finance Minister while Shri Satish Tiwari, GM (Resource Mobilization), read out the message received from Shri P. Chidambaram, Union Home Minister.
The function was attended by large number of senior ministers and staff. Dena Bank has drawn up an extensive programme of promoting the use of Hindi. Prize distribution will be held on 14th October, 2011.
